The mission of the African American Cultural Enrichment Club (AACE) is to build community among the Black students in the school.  To provide a safe space for them to come together and meet new people, learn about African American history and culture, share their experiences, gain organizational and leadership experience, and travel to places and locations connected to African American history and culture.

Alex's Lemonade Stand helps to raise money to help treat childhood cancer and contribute towards cancer research.

The American Sign Language club teaches signs to students and introduces students to deaf culture.  Meeting days vary.

Open art studio for all interested students. Ceramics room available to those who are currently taking a ceramics course.

Discuss astronomy events and news. Sky-viewing events and trips to observatories.

Best Buddies is a global nonprofit organization that is active in over 9,000 schools in the US and in thousands of schools around the world.

The goal of Best Buddies is to introduce students in general education and special education classes to each other through a mutually enriching club experience where a diverse group of friends can meet new people, participate in group activities, and build a more inclusive school culture at your child’s school.

In Best Buddies, we create one-to-one matches between students with and without disabilities. These ‘buddy pairs’ spend time together during club meetings and communicate – over phone/text, social media, or in school – at least once a week.

Chess club allows for students to compete in friendly games of chess against one another. In addition, the Chess club competes in the Main Line Chess League.

HHS's Competition Marching Band is committed to achieving mastery of contemporary skills and methods in the marching arts.

Students in coding club can learn coding and have the option to participate in coding challenges throughout the year.

Dedicated to creating a mindful space where students can crochet, knit, or complete yarn crafts of their choice.

The DIY Club is a community service organization dedicated to fostering creativity, skill building, and compassion through hands-on crafting projects. We want to create meaningful crafts that will be donated to retirement homes, bringing joy and comfort to the residents while creating a sense of purpose and community among our members.

A community service based club that gives back to the community by providing aid for women and children in North Philadelphia

The Garden Club grows and maintains a sustainable garden outside the art wing through collaboration and pollination.

Girl Up is a girl-centered leadership development initiative, focusing on equity for girls and women.

Girls Who Code is an organization that focuses their work on including underrepresented women in computer science fields and encourages young girls to experience what computer science is all about.

A positive space for musical sharing and learning. Players of all levels can come and enjoy jamming with each other, learning something new, or simply listen along.

Produce the H-Vision program to gain exposure and experience within the school's broadcast media program. Make videos and appear on H-Vision.

Haverford Against Hunger helps volunteer and raise money for food banks.

The Haverford Makers Club encourages diverse thinking, collaboration and grants students the ability to work with specialized technology to create inventive solutions to everyday problems. Gain experience and skills for DIY projects and a better understanding of STEM careers by experiencing Multi-Designated Occupational Projects (MDOs.)

The Italian Club seeks to celebrate and promote Italian and Italian American cultures. Founded in 1984, Science Olympiad is the premier team STEM competition in the nation, providing standards-based challenges to 6,300 teams at 425 tournaments in all 50 states.

Be a part of the longest running high school radio station in the country! Take part and host your own radio show live on the air. WHHS is also renown for hosting the WHHS Coffeehouse, where students get to show off their musical talent for all to hear.

Affiliated with the regional Philadelphia World Affairs Council; this club heightens students' awareness about global geopolitics and host debate/discussion activities where student work in small groups on global affairs-based activities. Two events that the club participates in are the Model Senate and the Global Economic Forum.
