Student Shadow

For Students Visiting from Other Schools

We welcome prospective students who are considering attending Haverford High School and would like to experience a typical school day through our Student Shadow Program.

To participate, visiting students must receive prior written permission before arriving at the school. Students may not be admitted for a shadow visit without this required clearance.

All requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before the intended visit.

How to Request a Student Shadow

At least 48 hours prior to your requested visit date:

  1. Email the Haverford High School Main Office at HS-Secretaries@haverfordsd.net to request a student shadow.
  2. Include your requested visit date(s) in the email.
  3. Complete the Student Shadow Form and email the completed form to the Main Office at HS-Secretaries@haverfordsd.net.

Important Information

Student shadowing is intended to give prospective students an opportunity to experience a typical day at Haverford High School and get a feel for our school environment.

To ensure that the experience accurately represents a normal school day, student shadows will not be scheduled during the week immediately preceding school vacations, including, but not limited to:

  • Thanksgiving Break
  • Winter Break
  • Spring Break
